BIO.JERI HOWE is a dynamic and inspiring speaker, writer and worship leader.
Jeri enjoys speaking and leading workshops in a variety of settings including: conferences, churches, leader training events, and women’s community groups. You can expect to laugh and enjoy yourself at one of Jeri’s talks as she uncovers powerful truths and shares how to apply them to everyday life. Jeri is presently Media & Communications Director and a member of the teaching team at Lakeshore Vineyard Church. In the past, Jeri also served as the Executive Producer and Moderator for the radio show, Survival Skills For Everyday Living, which featured an ever-changing panel discussing powerful life principles. Jeri has also had the honor of being a staff member of the Speak Up Conference with Carol Kent. She is the primary author of Stonecroft Ministries’ AWARE Bible Study series and she's written a short novel named Kamea. Kamea is a medieval fantasy about our identity and value in Christ. It references over 200 scriptures using endnotes throughout the text and there are devotional readings and discussion questions available at kameathebook.com. Jeri has lead worship at women's conferences. Jeri often leads worship with her husband (and sometimes with her kids as well!) Like so many women’s lives, Jeri’s life has had different seasons. As a young woman, she earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree from the University of Michigan. After graduating she worked in the marketing department of an electric utility. Then, her life changed after the birth of her first child, when she chose to stay home full time. Several years later she transitioned into being a home-school mom. It was during this time that she found herself developing talks, discussion questions and devotionals for the Women’s Bible Study at her church which launched her into speaking and writing for wider circles. When Jeri is not writing, speaking or leading worship you might find her practicing twanging harmonies with her husband...that is until she talks him into taking another improv class.
