STIR.

God is stirring.  He is always at His work to this very day (John 5:17) and His work is to glorify Himself, to reveal Himself to His creation, to bring us to know Him…  He has gone through great lengths over centuries to do this… and God is still moving.   

I picture Genesis 1:2 where it says that the “Spirit of God was hovering over the waters”  I sense God hovering over the world now.  He is moving.  He is saving.  He is binding up the broken-heated.  He is proclaiming freedom.  He is releasing the prisoners from darkness.  He is stirring…

Will we join Him?  Will I?  Will I follow Jesus, who did only what He saw his Father doing? (John 5:19)  Will I let myself be swept up into the fiery, powerful and saving passion of God for the ones far from Him?
