30 Great Thoughts about God: Day 30 04/02/2010
0 Comments

God is faithful and true.

The LORD, the LORD,
the compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness
Exodus 34:6b niv

What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? Not at all!
Let God be true, and every man a liar.
Romans 3:3-4a niv

Another version translates this:  God is “abounding in... truth’.  He is Faithful and True, through and through. (Revelations 19:11)  The sun may pass away, the earth may cease to exist and God will still be faithful and true.  His word will still remain.  His love will never fail.  God’s faithfulness depends on Himself, and it will never end.

Prayer:  Lord, thank you for your unending faithfulness, thank you that you will be true beyond the passing away of this world.

Now to the King
Eternal, Immortal, Invisible,
the only God,
be Honor and Glory
Forever and Ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 1:17
